The woman named “Soho Karen” after falsely accusing a black teen of stealing her cell phone at a Manhattan hotel reportedly got a second DUI charge last year while on her first trial.
Miya Ponsetto, 22, was arrested Oct. 3 in Ventura County for DUI, opposes arrest and obstructing or delaying a peace officer or EMT, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
Five days earlier, Ponsetto was placed on probation after pleading not to contest a May drink-driving arrest in Los Angeles.
Ponsetto may have violated her probation with the second failure, according to a letter to Los Angeles County.
Last February, Ponsetto and her mother were also charged with public drunkenness and battery after causing a melee at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, according to a police report of the incident.
Ponsetto has been low in California since her December 26 showdown with Keyon Harrold Jr., 14, – the son of the jazz trumpeter of the same name – at the Arlo Hotel.
She was featured in a viral video accusing the teen, who she falsely accused of stealing her phone.
The incident led to Manhattan prosecutors being called to charge Ponsetto.
