The Mexican model Sofia Aragon closed 2020 engaged with the businessman from Morelos, Francisco Bernot.
Through his Instagram account, the Miss Mexico 2019 shared a photo where he appears next to his future husband and wearing his engagement ring.
“Best city, perfect time, most wonderful man. Besides, I said yes! The former beauty queen wrote in the caption from Times Square, New York.
The post received more than 92,000 likes in the first 15 hours of publication.
Bernot also announced the event on his account and with a new photo of the moment.
“Will you marry me @sofaragon?” Said the businessman.
The couple met in Cuernavaca just over a year ago when the model was about to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, to represent Mexico in Miss Universe, but it wasn’t until May this year that their relationship started.
Last month, Aragon was involved in a controversy after publishing a video assuring that she suffered symbolic violence while preparing for the match Miss Universe, from Lupita Jones.
