When we’ll see the Bullitt return it’s a mystery, but maybe it will when the next generation, S650 2023 Ford Mustang arrives, which will reportedly happen in 2022.
My former boss drove the 2019 Mustang Bullitt once and quite liked it; it always seemed like an expensive way to cosplay Steve McQueen, and maybe part of the reason it’s disappearing is that fewer and fewer people are interested in it. However, the Highland Green remains unshakable, as does the 480 horsepower of its 5.0-liter V8, as well as the six-speed manual transmission. Wait a few years and you can probably get one for half what they cost new.
