Sixers can admit fans into Wells Fargo Center starting March 1

The Wells Fargo Center has felt empty in the 2020-21 season. The Philadelphia 76ers were great; they top the rankings of the Eastern Conference. But no fans have seen it due to the COVID-19 restrictions, and Joel Embiid had to wave to empty seats after big games.

That may change starting Monday, March 1: The state of Pennsylvania will allow 500 fans for indoor events. It won’t come close to the 20,000 plus Sixers that normally draw, but it will be nice to have some fans in the building for this entertaining season.

Philadelphia is 14-2 at the Wells Fargo Center so far this season, and there’s no doubt fans would go nuts when Embiid has a big night or Ben Simmons packs a big punch. It will be nice to have the passionate Philadelphia fans back in the arena.
