Six soldiers died this Sunday when the Aircraft of the Mexican Air Force in which they were traveling, in the eastern state of Veracruz, said in a statement Secretariat of the National Defense of Mexico (SEDENA).
The events took place at 09:45 local time (17:45 GMT) near the El Lencero Airport in the municipality of Emiliano Zapata, metropolitan area to the city of Xalapa, the capital of the state of Veracruz.
Official reports indicate that the Learjet aircraft with registration 3912, which belongs to the Secretariat of National Defense of Mexico, ran off the runway and crashed into vacant lots.

The Learjet immediately caught fire and killed all six crew, including the pilot and co-pilot at the scene. The victims were members of the armed forces.
Members of the Mexican Army, State Police and airport rescue personnel went to the accident area, where they tried in vain to rescue the pilots trapped in the fire.
After the fire was put out, minister personnel came in to collect the bodies.

And he announced in a press release that the Air Accidents Investigating and Judging Commission and the Inspection and Comptroller General of the Army and Air Force will conduct the expert reports to determine the causes of the accident.
