Six Alianza players have been left out of the Selecta due to economic problems

During a press conference this morning, the coach announced the news about the changes to the call-up for the Blue & White Major

A few minutes ago, at a press conference at the Salvadoran Football Association, coach Carlos De los Cobos announced a new call for the commitments of the Mayor of Azul and Blanco after failing to reach an agreement on the economic issue involving six Alianza players with those which are counted by the Mexican strategist.

It is worth remembering that players must adhere to national calls according to the rules, under penalty of sanctions, if there is no justified reason for their absence.

For now it is known that there are six Alianza players who will no longer be there for this trial, said Hugo Carrillo, president of Fesfut. “One of them asked if there would be sanctions. The federation is not prepared to sanction anyone who does not want to be present. On the contrary, we don’t want to have players who are not committed to blue and white. We need players who will defend the blue and white shirt 100%, because we always consider it an honor for an athlete … to represent (the country) internationally, ”said the manager.

“I met the coaching staff, I showed them what was happening so they could rephrase the call for this previous competition next week,” Carrillo said of the match against Granada on Thursday, March 25.

He added that “the other players agree with what Fesfut offered,” regarding the prizes and monetary amounts for those called up.

“Narciso Orellana, Juan Carlos Portillo, Marvin Monterroza, Jonathan Jiménez, Henry Romero and Rodolfo Zelaya left the call,” said Carlos De los Cobos, who recalled that they will face Monserrat in Curaçao on March 28.

In the new call will be: Kevin Carabantes (FAS), Benji Villalobos (Águila), Henry Hernández (Chalatenango), Alexander Mendoza (Santa Tecla), Iván Mancía (Alianza), Julio Sibrián (11 Deportivo), Roberto Domínguez (Partizani, Albania), Bryan Tamacas (Alianza), Marvin Morales (11 Deportivo), Andrés Flores Jaco (FAS), Alexander Larín (Xelajú, GUA), Isaac Portillo (Alianza), Rodrigo Rivera (Santa Tecla), Andrés Flores (Free Agent) , Gerson Mayén (Eagle), Diego Galdámez Coca (Eagle), Óscar Cerén (Alliance), Byron Henríquez (Chalatenango), Jaime Alas (Municipal, GUA), Joaquín Rivas (second from the US), Dustin Corea (FAS), Érick Rivera (Aurora, Bolivia), David Rugamas (11 Deportivo).
