PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Philadelphia police say seven people were shot near the Olney Transportation Center on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the shooting took place just before 3 p.m.
View from Chopper 6 showed a large police presence near the station at the corner of Broad Street and Olney Avenues.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said the injured are between 17 and 70 years old.
The victims were taken to regional hospitals. One person was listed in critical condition, but the others suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Outlaw said.
At least one person was taken into custody and two weapons were found on the spot, police said.
An earlier version of this story said one person was dead after the shooting.
