After Osbourne tweeted a message in support of Morgan for “telling your truth,” Sheryl Underwood, co-host of “The Talk,” asked Osbourne what she would say to those who considered her support for Morgan racist.
The question sparked a tense discussion between the two, in which Osbourne denied being racist and “a terrible, bad word. ”
On Friday, Maher asked Osbourne how she was doing, almost a month after she left the show.
“I am angry, I am hurt”, she replied, adding that she is “a fighter”.
Later, Maher said of Morgan, “He was called a racist and lost his job, and you were called a racist and you lost your job. Am I right? ”
“You’re right,” Osbourne replied. “That’s exactly how it went.”

“Me too,” Osbourne replied. ‘I’ve been mentioned so many things in my life. I’m so used to being called names, but I won’t take a racist. “
After the incident last month, Osbourne claimed she was “set up” by her co-hosts when asked about Morgan, which CBS later denied in a statement. The network said an internal review “found no evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blinded any of the hosts. ”
CBS announced late last month that Osbourne, the last of the original daytime talk show presenters, was leaving the program after executives “concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode was not consistent with our values of a respectful workplace. ”
Osbourne also briefly commented on allegations made by journalist Yashar Ali using the co-host on Friday racist and homophobic comments when she talks to her fellow hosts. Osbourne’s publicist Howard Bragman at the time said the allegations were “lies,” and the co-host added on Friday that the reports were from “disgruntled ladies.”
