The Angels – “Sex and the City” returns to television with an HBO Max series starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, but not Kim Cattrall.
‘And Just Like That …’ is the title of this new TV adventure of ‘Sex and the City’, the main novelty of which compared to the original series is the absence of Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha but not in this new episodes.
While HBO Max hasn’t provided a specific explanation about it, it’s entirely possible that Kim Cattrall’s non-participation is due to the public confrontation he’s had with Sarah Jessica Parker for years.
The digital platform set out in a statement today that ‘And Just Like That …’ is the ‘even more complicated reality of the life and friendship’ of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) , and all over 50 years old.

The series continued its storytelling on the big screen with two films starring the four original roles: “Sex and the City” (2008) and “Sex and the City 2” (2010).
It also had a short prequel on the small screen entitled “The Carrie Diaries” (2013-2014).
