T.here was an alarming moment towards the end of Atalanta‘s 4-2 win Naples on Sunday evenings if Victor Osimhen collapsed on the field and had to be pulled out.
The attacker hit his head after a challenge next to Cristian Romero and he lost consciousness.
His teammates and the Atalanta players were clearly concerned to find out what was happening, and some even heard about oxygen. The TV cameras didn’t even focus on the player anymore, a sign that something was very wrong.
He was urgently attended by doctors and taken to the nearby Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital for further tests.
Fortunately, several Italian reporters have said he regained consciousness while in the ambulance.
