Sega is celebrating the New Year on social media with stunning sonic artwork

Gaming companies are currently sharing all kinds of special artwork on social media to celebrate the holidays and the New Year, and joining in the fun is Sega official Sonic the hedgehog Twitter account.

Recently it shared a stunning carnival scene with Sonic and some classic characters like Mighty, Ray, Fang and Bean. This photo was actually taken by Nathalie Fourdraine, who has helped with a number of covers on IDW’s Sonic comic series. We also have some holiday art (above) featuring characters like Cream and Amy Rose.

This year, Sonic the Hedgehog is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Sega has already said it has some very exciting news to share and can’t wait to reveal what it is.
