Fans are eagerly awaiting the news of Season 2 of The Bridgertons. However, actress Phoebe Dynevor has warned that filming could be delayed, delaying the release date.
Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton, expressed excitement at the possibility of returning for a second season. The actress assured that the production of the first season will end in February 2020, before the coronavirus pandemic was forced to stop filming around the world. Therefore, the interpreter fears that the recording of the second episode will be delayed.
“I can’t imagine how it would be possible to film under these conditions. There are so many extras and so many crew members, and it’s a very intimate series. I’m just surprised to think how we would film it under the COVID. 19 lines, unless there was a vaccine. ” complained in an interview with Deadline.
The United Kingdom allows film and television productions to continue, provided they meet strict safety guidelines for the corona virus. Despite this, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed The Bridgertons for a second season, despite the great popularity of fiction. However, some rumors suggest that filming for the new chapters could begin in March.
The Bridgertons stars Regé-Jean Page as Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings, Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington and Polly Walker as Portia Featherington. The first season of The Bridgertons, created by Chris Van Dusen and consisting of eight chapters, is fully available on Netflix.
