Scott Evans sneaks up on his brother Chris Evans while talking to his dog and scares him

They are playful brothers who regularly play pranks on each other, as recently as this Thanksgiving.

And just before Christmas, Scott Evans was on hand to scare his superhero brother Chris by posting the results on his Instagram stories.

In the video clip shared over the weekend, Scott, 37, was hiding just next to the house entrance, while Chris, 39, walked in with his dog Dodger.

One could hear the Captain America star telling his dog to go in and affectionately calling him ‘you goof’.

Once inside, Scott shouted ‘Chris!’ very hard, which makes the handsome actor practically jump out of his skin.

Then he immediately fell over with laughter.

Scott captioned the video: ‘Living in fear of the holidays …

‘I’ve got it again. And recorded a small private conversation with Dodger. “Idiot.”‘

Never one to put it down, Chris made sure to get his brother back later, hiding in the kitchen while his younger brother came into the room.

Immediately he jumped out and shouted “Scott!” which made the Grace And Frankie star turn in sheer fear.

When Scott realized it was his older sibling who was calling him back, he laughed.

Chris then said, “Yeah, you idiot!”

He posted the fraternal exchange on his Instagram stories, with the caption, ‘Don’t start none, won’t be none’.

He also added the parenthesis: ‘(Wow, my voice sounds like sandpaper … I just woke up)’.

Later on Sunday, Chris uploaded a quieter moment with dog Dodger as they lay in bed in front of a fireplace watching A Christmas Story.

At the end of the clip, the Massachusetts-born actor turned his camera phone to show that fresh snow was falling outside.

The social media activity comes after the pair of brothers documented the pranks they took to each other nearly a month ago on their Thanksgiving holiday.

At the time, it was more of the same, with each Evans man sneaking up on the other to scare him off his skin – and capturing it on video.
