Savannah Guthrie, Anderson Cooper, and Dr. Oz among new guest hosts of “Jeopardy!”

A slew of new guest hosts have been announced for the long-running game show “Jeopardy!” Savannah Guthrie, Anderson Cooper, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sanjay Gupta will join a growing number of celebrity hosts – including Katie Couric, Aaron Rodgers, Bill Whitaker, and Mayim Bialik.

As part of each television personality’s time on the show, money is donated to a charity of their choice – amounts equal to the contestants’ total winnings in the weeks they appear.

“We look forward to each guest host bringing their unique skills to the show and seeing our participants win a lot of money to match for a good cause,” said Executive Producer Mike Richards.

After a long time host Alex Trebek died of pancreatic cancer last November, rumors swirled about its possible replacement. “Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time” winner Ken Jennings was eventually hired as a consulting producer and then announced as an interim host. He made his “Jeopardy!” debut on January 11, and Richards is ready to follow him as host for a short period of time.

The dates of the famous hosts’ performances, along with the charity names, have yet to be confirmed. Of the new star-powered lineup, only CNN’s Cooper has previously appeared on the show as a contestant, in the Power Players Tournaments.

A permanent host has yet to be announced.
