Santiago Solari ‘paints’ America in Mexico in white: he signs Álvaro Fidalgo

You never know where the Real Madrid youth team players will end up as there are certain stories that get really interesting. Santiago Solari is currently coach of América in Mexico, carrying out a very intriguing project. The Argentinian is already starting to take over players and coaches from Real Madrid, first he did it with Santi Sánchez and now with a young promise.

As you can see in the template Transfer market, Santiago Solari has signed Álvaro Fidalgo, a former Real Madrid youth player who eventually moved from La Liga Smartbank to Castellón. Due to his great importance, this footballer also made his debut with the first team in 2018, in a Copa del Rey match against Melilla.

Not only that, but Solari also brought Santi Sánchez to the Mexican team as the second coach. They are already two movements related to Real Madrid. The Argentinian wants to ‘paint’ this historic club white, where players of a very good football and media level have passed.

Also included in the squad is Sergio Díaz, another player who went through the Real Madrid quarry but was less fortunate. He stayed for many years, until he belonged to the merengue outfit just a few months ago, but decided to pack his bags looking for opportunities knowing he wouldn’t make a fortune.

Solari, 44, is on a new adventure on his continent, with top-level players on his team. They are currently ranked sixth in the rankings, but America is one of the big ones in the league, so at the end of the season he is expected to see him in the top part of the table.
