San Andreas Definitive Edition Video Remasters the Game for PS5

This year, Rockstar Games is releasing an “expanded and improved” version of Grand Theft Auto V. and GTA Online for the PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Meanwhile, it is believed to be hard at work as well GTA 6, which is also likely to be PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X bound. That said, a lot GTA fans would love to see the developer revert to previous releases. From San Andreas to Vice City, entries from yesteryear beg for a remaster or remake, but at this point, it’s foolish to expect Rockstar Games to go back to these sources.

That said, while Rockstar Games may never go back to these previous releases, YouTuber “XXII” has a new video for “GTA: San Andreas Definitive Edition, ”a fan-made trailer that re-imagines the game as a PS5 remaster.

As you can see, the trailer gives the game a visual upgrade, and while it’s far from perfect, it does give a taste of what a remaster of the game might look like. And as you’d expect, all of the main characters – CJ, Big Smoke, Ryder, Officer Frank Tenpenny, Kendl, Cesar, and Sweet – are all in attendance.

Although it’s unlikely that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive will remaster or re-create Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, chances are, alongside a few other nostalgic entries, it will be similarly re-released on PS5, Vice City, and more were re-released on the last generation PS4. That said, this hasn’t been confirmed for now. What GTA fans can look forward to this year there is an “expanded and improved” version of it GTA 5, and who knows, maybe one GTA 6 also reveal.
