Samsung wins with Clamshell cell phone charging cases for wireless earbuds

Last week’s big news didn’t turn out that Samsung was finally there omitted the bizarre bean design For its wireless earbuds, it is that the company plans to dominate the demographics of the ‘kids of the late’ 90s with a lid of the charging case that camouflages the Galaxy Buds Pro as one retro clamshell mobile.

Days after a new product category is announced, accessories for those products start to drip, and if you’ve been using a set of Apple AirPods for a few years now, you’ve probably seen hundreds of ways to decorate and protect their tiny charging case. But accessory makers tend to flock to the most popular products, and last year’s Samsung Galaxy Buds Live isn’t just yet. That’s probably why Samsung has made some nice protective cases for its new one out of the gate itself Galaxy Buds Pro the wireless earbuds change into a (non-functional) retro Samsung Anycall T100 or Anycall E700 mobile phone.

Some sites that the Anycall charging case cases are only available as a store gift when the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds are purchased in person at stores in South Korea. But the Samsung website does mention them as an optional add-on when you buy the Galaxy Buds Pro online, which adds about $ 30 to the cost of the $ 200 headphones. That’s not exactly cheap, you can actually get quite a few decent but basic wireless earbuds for $ 30, but for those of us who got our first cell phones 20 years ago, the nostalgia here might be almost be impossible to resist.
