Salud says it is ready to qualify new beneficiaries in Plan Vital

The Department of Health reported this Tuesday that it is ready to qualify citizens applying for the benefits of the Government Plan-Vital Plan, after approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), with to increase the participants’ income scale. .

In this new scenario, citizens who were previously ineligible for income can temporarily qualify for the benefit, until September 30, 2021.

This was assured by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Lorenzo González Feliciano, in written communication, expecting to send letters to the people who have asked for help and were ineligible due to income so that they can apply again submit under the new scale.

“This is excellent news. We are ready to receive the application from those citizens who do not have a medical plan yet and can now qualify for their income. Health is a right we all have and having a plan for the citizens should be a priority for any government.
