It didn’t take long for Alvin to deliver Kamara on Christmas Day.
The New Orleans Saints rushed back to a 40-yard touchdown run on the game’s opening run for a quick lead over the Minnesota Vikings. And he did it in style with a pair of green-and-red Christmas-themed cleats that could be fined by the competition.
Kamara has scored six touchdowns against the Vikings and now has 21 touchdowns in the season – his career high. His six immersive TDs are the most associated with Ernie Nevers (Chicago Cardinals, 1929) in a game in NFL history. Kamara also set a career high with yards of scrimmage. He was named for his fourth Pro Bowl in four years earlier this week.

The Saints’ line of attack also deserves credit on a day when both starting guards Andrus Peat and Nick Easton are out injured. The line blew a big gap for Kamara against the low-injury defense of Minnesota.
Kamara can also take advantage of its festive cleats.
