Ryan Murphy provides a tantalizing tease for American Horror Story Season 10

While it’s still unclear when season 10 of American Horror Story will debut, series creator Ryan Murphy dropped a tantalizing plague.

The 55-year-old writer took to Instagram on Thursday and shared new artwork for the season, with his caption simply saying ‘Night moves # AHS10’.

The writer revealed the cast in February 2020, although production was delayed many times due to COVID-19, but it looks like filming is finally going on.

The cast includes Macaulay Culkin and will join Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock.

Murphy teased that the season will take place in Provincetown, Massachusetts, a popular LGBTQ + vacation spot where Murphy also has a home.

Still, no details of the story have been provided, although Murphy has posted photos of the beach in Provincetown and photos of an open mouth with serrated teeth as clues.

In January, it was reported by Wicked Local that the Provincetown Select Board had authorized 20th Century Fox to shoot at 19 selected locations in Provincetown.

The project was known only as ‘Pilgrim’, although it is believed to be the new title for the 10th season of American Horror Story.

It’s possible this season has some connection to the Pilgrims as the Mayflower ship first arrived in what is now known as Provincetown Harbor.

It was also in Provincetown where the Mayflower Compact was created and signed, even though the Pilgrims eventually settled across the bay in Plymouth.

Still, it’s unclear how the previously plagued serrated teeth or the sinister-looking bald men in long black coats fit into Pilgrim’s storyline.

Regardless, it looks like filming has started in earnest, with Murphy recently sharing photos of the Provincetown cast, with stars like Grossman sharing her own photos.

American Horror Story was renewed for its 10th season in August 2018, and while it’s unclear when the season will debut, an October premiere seems likely.

American Horror Story is an anthology series with a completely different setting, theme and characters each season.

Although the cast has revolved over the years, several regular customers remain such as Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
