PW Insider noted there is some fear within WWE of roster cuts in the wake of WWE’s earnings report. It is unknown if Lars Sullivan and Steve Cutler’s releases are the start of a new series of cuts.
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that NXT wrestlers Karrion Kross and Austin Theory are “being prepared for the main list.”
- He also said Shaquille O’Neal is not struggling at AEW Revolution on March 7 because that date conflicts with the NBA All-Star game. That’s why Shaq struggles instead on the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.
- Per Meltzer, Angel Garza was supposed to be in the Royal Rumble match but was pulled out. Meanwhile, Fightful states that Toni Storm was Mia Yim’s replacement in the Royal Rumble and that Kacy Catanzaro was on standby in case she was needed.
- According to Ringside News, Murphy and Bo Dallas have appeared on television, but “they got nothing to do.”
