Belgium Has since been endangered
C.american football player Didier Lamkel Ze, who plays for Royal Antwerp, wants to force a move to Panathinaikos and since the club won’t budge, he came on training in a direct rival’s shirt – Anderlecht.
His attitude has not satisfied the fans of the team at all.
According to dhnet.be, this has led to fans threatening him and forcing the police to intervene to ensure his safety.
“We are not bodyguards, but we take the situation seriously,” said the Antwerp police spokesman Willem Migon said.
“We can’t say anything at the moment, but it is true that after the events of the past few days, we have noticed threats against him.
“That is why we are monitoring the situation closely.”
Lamkel Ze has since apologized for his actions.
