Yesterday we were treated to a brand new Nintendo Indie World Showcase, where we got a glimpse of some of the smartest indie games launching on Switch.
More than 20 games were shown in what felt like a particularly strong presentation throughout. If you missed it, or if you just want to keep up with everything that has been announced, we’ve got you covered below.

Road 96

OXENFREE II: lost signals

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, published by MWM Interactive, is a supernatural narrative adventure game about a researcher who encounters spooky events. Five years after the events in OXENFREE, Riley returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate mysterious radio frequency signals that cause curious disturbances. OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2021.

OlliOlli World

The bold new entry in the OlliOlli series is here! Speed through the streets of Radland in OlliOlli World and search for the mystical skate gods in this slick action platformer. With super-sleek controls and a level design that goes with your combos, you’ll have amazing tricks, meet colorful characters, and discover the hidden secrets of this vibrant and vibrant world. OlliOlli World is launching this winter for Nintendo Switch.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

With a mix of retro and modern visuals, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge finds the four favorite turtles kicking against a serious scale in classic arcade-esque beat-’em-up action. Up to four players can play locally * or online in this great game developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, who also published Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be released for Nintendo Switch later this year.

The desire

With a beautiful hand-drawn art style and an intriguing story, The Longing is unlike anything you’ve played before. The big twist: you don’t really have to play to see how it turns out. But that doesn’t mean you just have to stand idly by. As main character Shade, you have to wait 400 days for your king to wake up. While you wait, you can explore dark caves, complete time-based puzzles, and collect items.

In hindsight and the last stop

In hindsight from developer Joel McDonald is a gripping story game about an elderly woman who reminisces about her family. The objects from her past serve as portals to long-lost memories, revealing a decision that changed her life forever. Find out more when Hindsight releases for Nintendo Switch this year.
Developer Variable State’s Last Stop is a third-person, single-player adventure set in modern London, where you play as three separate characters whose worlds collide in the midst of a supernatural crisis. What connects these three strangers? Where will fate lead them? Find out when Last Stop will be released for Nintendo Switch in July.

Aerial_Knight never gives up

This is not your typical “runner” game! Run, jump, slide and run through a futuristic Tokyo-style Detroit to a stunning soundtrack as protagonist Wally to save what’s left of the future. Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield slides to Nintendo Switch at 19th May. A demo will be available on Nintendo eShop later today.

Get powerful arm upgrades, traverse different areas in an advanced Mesoamerican metropolis, and meet all kinds of characters to uncover ancient secrets. Aztech Forgotten Gods will be released on Nintendo Switch this fall.

There is no game: wrong dimension

Skul: The Hero Slayer

Take on an entire army to save your king in this fast-paced 2D roguelite. And the best thing? To progress in the game you have to switch skills, which you do by … switching heads. With 90 playable character variations, each with their own special abilities, you might think you’re going crazy in real life. Skul: The Hero Slayer launches this summer for Nintendo Switch.

Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective

Adapted from the children’s book series, Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective takes you through incredibly detailed mazes to retrieve a powerful artifact. During your quest you will interact with over 500 items or characters, find over 100 hidden objects and wander around beautiful locations. Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective is due out for Nintendo Switch this spring.

The House of the Dead: Remake
