Robert De Niro, Mike Myers and Chris Rock sign up for David O. Russell’s star-studded top secret new movie
He is making his first film in more than five years.
And David O. Russell continues to recruit big names for his top secret project currently being filmed in Southern California.
On Thursday, Deadline.com reported that Robert De Niro, Mike Myers and Chris Rock have all come on board.
It will be the second time that De Niro has collaborated with the director; he starred in Silver Linings Playbook with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
And the recruiting didn’t stop there; Anya Taylor-Joy is also joining the cast, fresh from her critically acclaimed performance on Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit.
Also newly registered are Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts and Alessandro Nivola.

The new group of talents joins previously announced stars John David Washington, Zoe Saldana and Christian Bale who were seen on location Monday in Saugus, outside of Los Angeles.
The cast also includes Margot Robbie and Rami Malek.
Russell directs the film from his own screenplay and all that is known is that it is an original story.
The filmmaker went through a productive phase in the early 2000s, directing a string of high-profile releases, including The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy.
He first gained fame with the 1996 comedy Flirting With Disaster, which was followed by Three Kings in 1999 and I Heart Huckabees in 2004.
He has been nominated five times for an Academy Award in the directing and screenwriting categories.
