Police told Daily News that the suspects struck again four days later when they waved a knife at two men riding Citi Bikes in Central Park.

This particular incident occurred in broad daylight around 3:30 pm on March 17th. The victims were not injured during the ordeal, but the suspects stole the bicycles.

Last Tuesday, the robbers stole from two teenagers on Riverside Drive around 9 p.m.

The teens, aged 14 and 15, told police that the group fired a gun and stole the teen’s cell phones and sweatshirt.

About two hours later, they managed to enter a residential building on Riverside Drive and steal an electric scooter.

About an hour later, according to the Daily News, the thieves stole a 27-year-old man’s cell phone and wallet containing $ 375.

Although he was not injured, the group threatened to stab him. This incident took place around Central Park West.

New York City has seen a resurgence in crime, and even more so against Asian Americans.

On Saturday, police said they were looking for a man wanted for shouting anti-Asian insults at a 44-year-old woman and her three children, spitting at her, and kicking her cellphone out of a subway.

Police call the incident a hate crime. Authorities described the suspect as a dark-skinned man who is between 50 and 55 years old, about six feet tall and about 150 kilograms.

He was last seen in a dark camouflage sweater, dark sweatpants and black sandals. Police said he was wearing a black sock on his left foot and a white sock on his right foot.

The woman was riding a No. 5 train south to Times Square at around 2:30 PM with her three children.

The attack was one of the latest in a national spike in anti-Asian hate crimes.

Also near Times Square last week, a 65-year-old Filipino American woman was cruelly assaulted while walking to church.

A parole who was convicted of murdering his mother nearly 20 years ago was charged with assault and attempted sexual assault as hate crimes.
