A new and official Resident Evil Village A promotional image from Japan has surfaced online for the apparent leak of a large and unannounced character that Capcom has supposedly tried to keep or keep a secret from the game’s final trailer. The new game that is more or less Resident Evil 8 is just a month away from release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC, but it seems there are key characters we don’t know about.

On Twitter, user Masa shared a new promotional image that Capcom released for the game in Japan. The picture shows Ethan Winters – the protagonist – and his baby Rose, who is carried by Chris Redfield. And in addition, there is also a prominently placed, but heavily obscured character wearing some kind of helmet / mask. If you don’t recognize the character, it’s because they haven’t been revealed yet, and at the time of publishing, this has not been fixed.

While this image has been floating around for a few days, Capcom hasn’t covered it with any kind of commentary or additional information, leaving fans with nothing but speculation. Nobody knows for sure who it could be, but some theorize that it is “Mother Miranda”, which Lady Dimitrescu refers to in one of the game’s trailers.
