Resident Evil Village Demo: All Times You Can Play
Capcom is giving PS5 and PS4 players early access to the Resident Evil Village demo, but these odds are very short. Before the full demo comes out just before the full game launches, you have 30 minutes to play part of the demo. A week later, the other part of the demo will be unlocked and you will have another 30 minutes to play. The village part is first and then it is the turn of the castle. These two areas will culminate in a final 60-minute demo in early May, but they will feature the same content as the two offerings that are half as long.

The first part of the Resident Evil Village demo takes place in the village. You have 30 minutes to play during the following time slots during the evening of April 17, 2021 proceed to April 18, 2021
- 5:00 p.m. PDT on April 17, 2021 until 1:00 am PDT on April 18, 2021
- 8:00 PM EDT on April 17, 2021 until 4 hours EDT on April 18, 2021
The second part of the Resident Evil Village demo takes place in the castle area. You have 30 minutes to play during the following time slots during the evening of April 24, 2021 proceed to April 25, 2021
- 5:00 p.m. PDT on April 24, 2021 until 1:00 am PDT on April 25, 2021
- 8:00 PM EDT on April 24, 2021 until 4 hours EDT on April 25, 2021
Finally, these two pieces of the Resident Evil Village demo come together to form a full 60 minute demo a week later. They will still contain the same content, but can be played consecutively. You get access on May 1, 2021, and the demo will then be available through the game’s launch May 7, 2021
