Remains of Venom Jack will be on display until noon Thursday; the cremation process would take up to four days

Santo Domingo, RD.

Until Thursday afternoon, the body of Dominican fighter Rafael Antonio Sánchez (Jack Veneno) will be unmasked, who will then be cremated. This final process would take three to four days.

The hunter’s daughter, Paola Sánchez, once said that once Jack Veneno’s body was cremated, the ashes would be scattered in the Caribbean Sea, in front of the Eugenio María de Hostos park, place where the iconic battles in which the athlete took part took place.

He asked that some of that ashes be scattered in the Caribbean Sea, for Eugenio María de Hostos. The love of the Dominican people for my father has made this process of shedding his physical body much easier, because his essence will remain with us, ”said Paola Sánchez.

“His last days were difficult, but thanks to God in life, he could feel the love of his family and the love of his people. As a daughter and as a family, we are very grateful,” she said.

The ball sports world champion died on Tuesday at the age of 79 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. His death has grieved the Dominican nation.

Facts about him

Jack Veneno was a resident of the city of San José de Ocoa. He completed high school in Santo Domingo, but in an entrepreneurial way he was able to star in a program with the highest number of viewers and invoices after the company “Dominicana de Espectntación” led by his compadre Arcadio Disla Brito (Vampiro Cao). After the death of “Cao”, Veneno becomes the sole owner of the company.

“Lucha Libre Internacional” ran through the major local channels and with its “Tertulia Induveca” the public enchanted the public by giving away the sponsored products, from salami, a Mama Inés coffee pack or a self-shine Buffalo for shoes, prior to the delivery of the Forty Malt for the elderly, then Jack Veneno rode his Sanyang motorcycle with the audience chorus and announcers Silvio Paulino (f), Alberto Tamarez (f), Ramón Calcaño and Ray Ramírez.

The fun program made it easier for Veneno to show the bearded face of the Dominican and the “good guys” headquartered in his “Cuadra Técnica”, fighting the “evil” represented by the “Cuadra Ruda” and his arch-rival José Manuel Guzmán Marte, aka “Relámpago Hernández”, who died in July 2011 and was known as “The evil genius” and also as “La Gallina”.
