Isaac’s binding designer Edmund McMillen has revealed the new, meaty expansion The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be released on March 31 for PC via Steam. The upcoming DLC is described as a sequel-sized expansion and will be the final expansion to the video game. It is expected to be released for consoles at a later date.
“That’s right,” McMillen shared in a post on the Steam store listing, “Repentance will finally be in your hands, hearts, and souls on March 31! Me and the team are very excited that this beast is finally rising from the depths and consuming you every hour you wake up for years to come, we just want all of its features to be perfect and testing to go a little deeper than our last minor release that will go untitled. “

According to McMillen, the trailer – which you can watch above – contains a ton of references to the history of the franchise in addition to teasing upcoming pieces. He says that “it all just depends on how wide your eyes are when you look and whether you have an IQ over 340.” Be that as it may, we don’t have to wait that long.
Isaac’s binding itself is currently available on a lot of different platforms, but as mentioned above, the new expansion is the size of a sequel The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be released on PC via Steam for the first time on March 31st and is expected to release on consoles later.
