Red Bull Racing compares Mexican Sergio Pérez to Hollywood star Tom Cruise
Guadalajara driver Sergio Pérez continues his preparation for the start of the 2021 Formula 1 season with the Red Bull Racing team, which sees the ‘Checo’ as the Mexican Tom Cruise.
Via their official Twitter account, the Austrian team joked with Pérez when they compared him to the famous American actor who is recognized worldwide as the lead actor in the ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise. The Red Bull account posted a photo of Cruise and accompanied it with the caption “in memory of the first round of ‘Checo.”
The 2021 Formula 1 campaign kicks off on March 28 with the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Mexican Grand Prix is scheduled for October 31.
