Rayados de Monterrey: Rogelio Funes Mori is out and will not play against Necaxa

The Rayados de Monterrey will not be able to count on the Argentinian attacker Rogelio Funes Mori for the competition on date 7 of Clausura 2021 of the Liga MX against Rayos del Necaxa on the Victoria Stadium field, so Javier Aguirre would have to use another player for the attack zone.

According to information from Diego Armando Medina of TUDN, Funes Mori failed the final test to find out if he was in the best shape to play after some inconvenience, so Rayados won’t risk it and won’t play against Necaxa.

With this new loss of Funes Mori, also that of the Dutchman Vincent Janssen who already has several matches that are not in action and without Aké Loba, Javier Aguirre will have to use the youthful José ‘Platano’ Álvarado, who is in the starting eleven of Monterrey against Necaxa.

Funes Mori’s loss is very sensitive as he has scored three of the four goals Rayados has scored in this tournament, so the ‘Vasco’ will struggle to find the ways without his most reliable man facing the goal.

It should be noted that José Alvarado has 21 games with Rayados de Monterrey in the First Division, playing only 679 minutes, where he scored a single touchdown.
