Just weeks after that GoldenEye 007 XBLA leaked online, Rare’s Others canceled project Dinosaur planet has now appeared on the internet.
This title started during the Nintendo 64 generation around 1999, was canceled and eventually resurfaced as Star Fox Adventures on the Nintendo GameCube. You can read in this post how Dinosaur Planet was associated with Fox.
The release comes courtesy of Forest of Illusion, who purchased a disc containing the build from a “private game collector” in Sweden. The file date of this build is December 1, 2000.
It appears to be a “late build” and as a result it includes characters like Fox McCloud. Although it is not yet fully playable on emulators, it “should” work fine on flashcarts.
