If you subscribe to Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, you may have noticed over the last day that it has re-uploaded its Switch Online summary trailer. Despite being a new upload, the dislikes already outweigh the likes.
At the time of writing, there are approximately 5,000 likes and 15,000 dislikes. Here’s an example of one of thousands of comments:
“Uploading this online trailer millions of times will not change the fact that we are still against it.”
While it is some viewers who think Nintendo is trying to get a more positive reception from its fans, this seems likely not the case.
As noted by a few other comments under the same video, there is now footage of the new Switch Online exclusive towards the end of the trailer, PAC-MAN 99There are also some Animal Crossing: New Horizons gameplay in it so it’s definitely an updated video.
They added Pacman 99 to the trailer at 2:43. That is it. That’s why they uploaded it again. ‘
Still, it’s not the best look when this trailer keeps uploading and the dislikes significantly outweigh the likes.
While the Switch Online service may not have the best reputation among the fan base, the service isn’t really having a hard time. As of last September, it has now amassed more than 26 million subscribers.
So, how can Nintendo make the rest of its fan base happy? Apparently all it takes is a library of Nintendo 64 games:
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen headlines about companies re-uploading game trailers. Last year, The Pokémon Company has a video of it Pokémon unite on multiple occasions.
