One of the highlights of 2020 was the indie hit Hades from Supergiant Games. The title was one of the best-selling indies on the Switch eShop and we said it was a heavenly journey to hell, awarding it an excellent ten stars out of ten.
As you can probably imagine, it has some serious mega fans by now, and one on Reddit called canhazreddit has done its best by making their own custom arcade cabinet with this quality roguelike.
The maker goes into a little extra detail, explaining how it is powered by an “i5, Nvidia 1060” (computer components) and the case itself is just a “giant wooden” case. The left stick is an UltraStick 360 and although there are coin cases on the device, they “unfortunately” don’t really work.
Although the original idea was to use “a Switch” as the source, unfortunately they couldn’t find exactly what they needed at the time to make this happen.
