Random: GUH-HUH! Some people are fascinated by Microsoft’s name on the Banjo-Kazooie amiibo

As you probably already know, yesterday marked the release of three brand new amiibo for Super Smash Bros. UltimatePerhaps the highlight was Rare’s bear and bird duo from the legendary Banjo-Kazooie series.

Many super fans are now posting pictures of this particular figurine on social media, and well, some individuals seem to be more interested in its basics. For whatever reason, they are in awe of Microsoft’s copyright – and note how “interesting” it is to see the US tech giant’s name on a Nintendo product.

Now Smash players are wondering what Steve’s base might look like. As explained by the Twitter user TheKrazyStew, Mojang features in the game’s character credits, while Banjo’s was just tagged with Microsoft. So brace yourself for similar reactions on social media when the Minecraft amiibo drops.

In case you’re wondering, the Others recently released amiibo, Terry Bogard – of the Fatal Anger and King of fighters series – based on SNK Corporation.

Can you believe a Microsoft character is now an amiibo? Were you surprised at all by the bottom of the Banjo & Kazooie amiibo? Did you even unpack yours? Leave a comment below.
