Rainbow Six: Quarantine Patch appears, renamed Rainbow Six: Parasite

Rainbow Six Parasite PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Updating: We’re guessing that Rainbow Six: Quarantine just wouldn’t fly like a title during a true global pandemic. Ubisoft has already announced that it is considering a name change, and it looks like Rainbow Six: Parasite has been fixed.

Artwork from the game’s PlayStation 4 home screen has been leaked online, after patches were pushed onto PlayStation’s servers before release. Is there a release date coming up?

Original Story: We don’t know when Rainbow Six: Quarantine will be released. Ubisoft reiterated in its most recent financial appeal that it is still looking forward to a 2021 release alongside Far Cry 6 – but could the sadly mentioned co-op shooter come sooner than we think?

The reason we ask is because a pre-launch update for the game has actually been pushed onto the PlayStation servers (according to PlayStation game size on Twitter). This suggests that Rainbow Six: Quarantine could come, but of course we’ll have to wait for an official announcement before we get too excited.

It’s crazy to think that Rainbow Six: Quarantine was originally slated to release in early 2020 after its reveal at E3 2019. It was then postponed to the next fiscal year and we haven’t heard much about it since then.
