Rafael Amaya makes his debut as a boxing promoter in Tijuana | THE UNMARTY

TIJUANA, BC – The Sonora actor Rafael Amaya premiered this Friday, a new facet in which he will support the sport of Tijuana, giving himself the opportunity to take a different path, in entertainment, but in the sports facet.

“All the past is over … right now there is a lot to do,” shared the protagonist of “The Lord of the Skies,” when approached by the media upon his arrival at the Grand Hotel Hall, the venue where the boxing night, in which he made his debut as a boxing promoter.

Amaya was invited by a group of young entrepreneurs to join new promoter BX Rumble and was so fascinated by the idea that he will support three boxers from the start of their careers.

The 44-year-old from Hermosillo was recently involved in scandals surrounding his addiction rehabilitation process and even circulated a video on social networks where he had delusions of persecution on the streets of Tijuana.

Of the few professional acting plans, he shared that there is the possibility of filming a new season of the series “The Lord of the Skies, which is under negotiation,” he explained.

That evening, Rafael Amaya, at the boxing function, was accompanied by his parents. He also shared a few words with the former mayor of Tecate, Zulema Adams.

“As a boy, it was a tradition to watch boxing on TV on Saturdays,” he shared between rounds and took the opportunity to talk to his father.

That day he showed good humor, a calm demeanor, applauded the boxers’ efforts, congratulated them and shared a few words with the young talents as they emerged victorious.

Although he attended to his admirers by taking pictures and recording greetings, there came a time when he got annoyed leaving the Grand Hotel Hall where the billboard was being developed.

He returned for the last part of the show and did not take his eyes off the actions that were happening on the string.

The entrepreneurs who founded the promoter were surprised by the actor’s quick interest in getting involved and contributing a little more than the original plan.
