Queen on the same day as Harry, Meghan’s narrator

Watch your calendars, royal guards.

Queen Elizabeth II will be speaking in a TV address on Sunday, March 7, ahead of Commonwealth Day, the same day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s sit-down with Oprah Winfrey will air, according to reports.

Unlike last year’s Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, which marked the last royal performance for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this year’s plans have been scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The queen, 94, will instead share her message on a program to be broadcast on BBC One, the Daily Mail reported Monday. The TV special would also feature prominent royals, including Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Commonwealth Day is Monday, March 8.

Last year, Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, stepped down as senior royals. On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Sussexes – who are expecting their second child – will no longer be working members of the royal family.
