Prince Philip’s death will continue to have an effect on the royal family, as Queen Elizabeth II’s upcoming 95th birthday is reportedly not going to be celebrated as usual.
The frost will celebrate the milestone on April 21, but her special day will not include traditional dishes.
For most royal birthdays, The Firm usually releases new portraits of the family member being celebrated, but no photo will be released this year, according to People magazine.
Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, died at the age of 99, just two months before his 100th birthday. He and Elizabeth were married for 73 years.

The royal family was buried Saturday in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

However, the tragic death isn’t the only thing that will have an effect on the monarch’s birthday celebrations, as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic resulted in the cancellation of the Trooping the Color, an event in June that marks the Queen’s birthday.
The outlet reports that there are plans for some form of a smaller party at Windsor Castle, like last year. It is currently unclear whether more family members will be present at such an event.

Representatives for the Queen did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.
For now, the queen is surrounded by loved ones. According to People, she has also spent some quality time with her trio of corgis after being spotted in the Frogmore Gardens for the past week.

Visits from relatives are expected in the coming days, while it is speculated that Prince Harry will not return to his wife Meghan Markle in the United States until after his grandmother’s birthday.

The Queen breaks another tradition after her husband’s death, as multiple reports have indicated that she is throwing out the traditional black-edged stationery for custom stationery with her coat of arms in black instead of red for her mourning period.
