More than 2 million PUBG Mobile According to the game’s developers, accounts were permanently banned from the mobile game within just a week. PUBG Corp. and Krafton gave an update on the game’s anti-cheat efforts through the PUBG Mobile Twitter account to give an idea of how many players have recently been hit by the “ban pan”. The total number of players banned between December 11 and December 17 was exactly 2,127,454, the PUBG Mobile makers said three reasons identified as the main causes of the bans.
Those reasons, unsurprisingly, were all cheats used by the mobile gamers PUBG Mobile to increase their chances of winning or otherwise manipulate parts of the game. The review of the latest wave of bans said the top three things banned by players this month were X-ray vision hacks, auto-aim hacks, and character modeling.
From December 11th to 17th, 2,127,454 accounts permanently blocked access to our game, most of which are the reasons:

⬜ Auto Aim hacks
⬜ Change of character models pic.twitter.com/AdA8iItjqJ– PUBG MOBILE (@PUBGMOBILE) December 20, 2020
Along with that information, separate infographics shared in the tweet showed what the spread between those three categories looked like. In total, 31% of banned players manipulated character models, 18% of them used some form of X-ray vision, and 15% of them used auto-aim hacks. The other reasons for the bans mentioned in the graph were speed hacks, change area damage, and “other” to include anything else players might have done that was banned.
Also interesting to see was the spread of the ranks to which the banned accounts belonged. The majority of banned accounts were Bronze at 22%, which is perhaps not surprising PUBG Mobile players while the second largest demographic was Diamond at 17%, followed by a tie between Platinum and Crown at 15% each.
Both PUBG and PUBG Mobile have long been fighting against cheaters by banning accounts like this one, so expect to see more anti-cheat updates like this one in the future to see how many accounts are blocked at different intervals.
