We watched Sony’s digital event CES 2021 so we didn’t have to. While last year’s showcase debuted the official PlayStation 5 logo and broke social media records, there was nothing to speak of this time around. Boss Jim Ryan was on hand to talk about the diversity of players PlayStation is attracting and to comment on the console’s incredibly successful launch, but that’s about as far as it went. Not that we expected otherwise, of course. CES is rarely the place for gaming announcements.

That is of course a big one for the future.
