Project athia is one of the more mysterious games in Square Enix’s upcoming series of releases. At this point, there isn’t much we know about the title other than the fact that it was developed with the PlayStation 5 hardware in mind. I mean, the game doesn’t even have an official name yet. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like it will be much longer before we start hearing more about it Project athia based on new information that has emerged.
During Sony’s presentation at CES 2021 today, a video was played revealing Project athia is scheduled for exactly one year from now, in January 2022. However, no new footage or gameplay of the title in action was shown in addition to this reveal. Square Enix hasn’t confirmed the release window for itself in any way since then.

Since so little is known about it Project athia, it was obvious that this might have been a game a little further afield. Again, Square hasn’t said much about the title and has yet to reveal a formal name for it. As such, I don’t think it would have surprised anyone if it had been announced that it wouldn’t be released until the end of 2022 or even 2023. The fact that it’s only been a year means we’ll probably learn more about it shortly. to order.
Until then, however, there is very little we need to get rid of. Perhaps the most striking detail about it Project athia is that it will be a console exclusive to PS5 for a period of two full years. The game is also still coming to PC, but those on the Xbox may not get their hands on it until 2024 at the earliest.
Again, assuming this release window is correct, Square Enix will likely have more to say Project athia in the next months. When that happens, we’ll update you on the game’s development here on our dedicated coverage hub.
