Hollywood’s most exclusive private club, San Vicente Bungalows, tackles leaks within its chic walls – after a guest dared to tell photographers that Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Baldwin were on the hot spot last week.
The club, by Sunset Tower guru Jeff Klein, values privacy with strict rules against cell phones, photos, and the like. The April newsletter revealed it had to “end” a member chatting about the Biebs.
Along with a photo of the pop star and his wife leaving the property, the newsletter warned: “The photo below was distributed online earlier this week. Within less than 24 hours, our team found out whose guest was responsible for alerting the paparazzi. The member who brought this guest to our club has now been terminated. “
Reports featuring the photos of the star couple leaving the club ran widespread online – as Vogue gushed, “Justin and Hailey Bieber had a little romantic date night for themselves at the San Vicente Bungalows.”
The club’s new newsletter, as seen by Page Six, also warned that as Hollywood insiders get out more, “we wanted to take a moment to remind you of the following club policies, which we take very seriously: photography / videography from any kind is not allowed on the Club premises or surrounding areas, “and” You are not allowed to post or discuss on social media about the club, its members and their guests, or club activities. ”
The update also warned, “Not only do we hold you accountable for these rules, but we hold you, the member, accountable for your guests according to the rules. If a member’s guest violates our club policies, that member’s membership may be suspended or terminated upon review. “
We reported in 2019 that a club member was banned for leaks that Steven Spielberg and Netflix boss Ted Sarandos were seen on the scene, indicating that the power players had ironed out a public battle over the rules that determine the eligibility of the Oscars.
A showbiz pro told us at the time of the club, “It’s very hard to get in, but easy to get kicked out.”
