Prince Harry and Prince William met privately for hours on end amid a rift: report

Prince Harry and his brother Prince William spent two hours together behind closed doors after their grandfather’s funeral on Saturday amid their protracted breakup, a report said.

The warring brothers were joined by their father, Prince Charles, at Windsor Castle after the royal family let Prince Philip rest, a source told The Sun.

The communication between the three was described by one source as “unproductive,” but an insider told the news outlet that it could be seen as a step in the right direction amid the fraternal struggle.

The feud intensified after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.

“It’s still early days, but you’d hope this is just the first step Philip would have wanted,” a source told the outlet of the family’s time together.

“It is not known what was said behind closed doors and when the cameras were turned off, but it is unfathomable to think that Megxit and Oprah did not come,” added a source.

Harry and William were also talking publicly for several minutes during the funeral on television. But William has reportedly requested that they separate as they followed the casket to St George’s Chapel.

Harry is expected to fly home on Monday to his pregnant wife.

Another important meeting between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge is reportedly set to take place in the coming weeks, where the two will discuss the future structure of the royal house.

Charles and William will consult with the queen in determining the number of full-time working members of the royal family and their corresponding duties for the next two generations, sources told The Telegraph.
