Citibanamex is selling the dollar at 20.65 pesos, while BBVA Mexico does it at 8:42 PM, Banorte at 8:45 PM pesos, Banco Azteca at 8:20 PM and Santander at 8:17 PM units.
The Mexican peso appreciated on Tuesday after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) raised its forecast for global economic growth, stimulating the appetite for risky assets.
The fund said the global economy would grow 6 percent this year, compared to a 5.5 percent forecast just three months ago.
According to CI Banco analysts, the Mexican peso will fluctuate between 20.18 and 20.40 units for the rest of the day.

Banco Base explained in a report that the peso started with a valuation of 0.46 percent or 9.3 cents, with exchange rate trading at around 20.25 pesos per dollar, due to lower aversion to global risk as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised its forecast for the global economy for the second time in three months.
Additionally, President Joe Biden is expected to announce today that the general population will be eligible for vaccination as of April 19, speeding up the vaccination process in the United States.
In the currency market, most currencies are losing ground against the dollar, whose weighted index rose 0.20 percent, the largest increase in a week. The most depreciated currencies are the New Zealand dollar at 0.64 percent, the British pound 0.53 percent and the Turkish lira 0.46 percent.
The the dollar is strengthening as speculation about an economic recovery continues accelerated in the United States as a result of the broad monetary and fiscal stimulus measures approved at the beginning of the year.

The euro is sold at the window in up to 23.89 pesos and it is bought for 23.88 pesos. For its part, the British pound is offered at 27.94 pesos and acquired at 27.93 pesos.
The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) recorded an exchange rate of 20.24 pesos in the previous session per dollar.
