The peso valued on Monday encouraged by an employment report in the United States and a multi-million dollar infrastructure plan from President Joe Biden, which has sparked global interest in risky assets.

How’s the exchange rate going?

Banco Base explained this in a report the valuation is attributed to a higher risk appetitebecause the US employment report reflects the economic recovery.

E.this too generates a weakening of the dollar against its major crosses in the exchange market, despite speculation in recent weeks that the recovery of the US economy could have accelerated enough to generate inflationary pressures, reinforcing speculation that the Federal Reserve could moderate its expansionary monetary stance.
