President Biden is gearing up to sign an executive order, a decision that will assess the United States’ ability to get hold of certain things that it is currently struggling to get hold of. Among the list are semiconductors, one of the main reasons behind the current PS5 (and graphics card) shortages.

Like CNBC reported earlier this month that a chip shortage – caused by pandemic disruptions in global supply chains – is wreaking havoc around the world, from automakers to hardware companies like AMD and Qualcomm, and that continues to trickle down to places like Sony and Nvidia because you don’t have PlayStations – and build GeForce cards without semiconductors.

APs report According to the executive order, the review will focus on “the vulnerability of vital supply chains,” and will examine whether, if a global situation makes it more difficult for the United States to import necessary components, the country will have to produce those things itself.

It should be noted that this is an order for a review, not to implement anything it recommends. As far as we know the president could get this review just say it’s a good idea to build more stuff in America, don’t do anything about it. A little fun how he promised checks of $ 2000 and has not.
