President Abinader left for Europe

President Luis Abinader traveled to Madrid, Spain on Saturday evening, where he will meet with King Felipe VI, the President of the Spanish government Pedro Sánchez Pérez and former Presidents José María Aznar and Felipe González before taking part in the summit. From Ibero-American Heads of State in Andorra.

This second trip of the president, after assuming the presidency of the country, took place Saturday at 9:50 PM on Air Europa flight 088.

The president was joined before his departure by Vice President Raquel Peña, who remains in office of the Dominican executive.

According to information from the presidency of the republic, Abinader will also meet with business groups and have lunch lunch with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashviliha.

Abinader will be received by the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Kingdom of Spain, Juan Bolívar Díaz, and the Director of State Ceremony and Protocol, Ambassador Francisco Cantizano Nadal.

At the hotel where he will be staying, in Madrid, President Luis Abinader will meet with former President of the Government of Spain, Felipe González, scheduled for an afternoon, the same day of his arrival.

An hour later, meet the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashviliha for a private lunch.

Later, the Dominican president will chair a meeting with leaders of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) living in Spain.

At 6 p.m. he meets the former president of the Spanish government, José María Aznar, and at 8 p.m. he takes part in a dinner with prominent personalities from the Dominican community in Spain.

On Monday 19, President Abinader will attend the first business meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic in Spain and the Business Council Alianza por Iberoamérica (CEAPI), in the Borges Room of the Casa de América.
