Prescott from Cowboys shows the rehabilitation progress in training video

After quarterback Dak Prescott struck a blockbuster deal with Dallas, there were questions about confidence in his rehab. Do you suffer a horrific ankle fracture in week 5 of the 2020 season and then sign a 4-year deal with a $ 66 million signing bonus in the off-season after? Why were the cowboys so confident that he would return to full health?

Thanks to great work from doctors and the Cowboys training staff, Prescott is already back on the field, practicing less than 6 months away from the injury. The Mississippi State product showed its progress in a video on Twitter.

Prescott made a few awkward throws in the video, similar to the quick throws he made against the star-studded Dallas receiving core before his injury. The throws also include planting on his right leg, further showing the confidence he has after recovery.

In the second video posted after practice, Prescott made some dropbacks while delivering deep throws to a receiver who was training with him. Seeing the Cowboys franchise quarterback on a field and making strong throws is a sight to sore-eyed Dallas fans who still vividly remember his injury.

Returning to 100%, Prescott is expected to be a full-go in 2021 and will look forward to a comeback season to regain control of the NFC East and prove he was worth the $ 160 million price tag.
