Prepare for more Activision Blizzard remasters in 2021

Activision Blizzard, the video game powerhouse, has been making a lot of money for quite some time now thanks to a number of remasters.

We’ve seen the return of IP-like Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater from Activision’s side, while Blizzard has chipped with titles such as Warcraft III: Reforgedit clearly did not go down well with fans.

In the company’s latest earnings call, it noted how more of this ‘remastered content’ was likely to be released at some point this year:

“We have a few other things in store in terms of remastered content that will reveal in time, which should give us more opportunities this year.”

In 2019, Activision said it had a lot of IP that it believed fans wanted to experience again – while referencing the successful Crash and Spyro revival.

As for Blizzard, more recent reports suggest it could work on one Diablo 2 remake.
